Printing

Units may work directly with outside printing vendors on projects that cannot be printed on machines within that office. Units are responsible for collaborating with vendors to bid work, send files, approve work, and execute payment on their projects.  

Soybean Ink

Under state procurement rules, the requirement to use soybean oil‑based or vegetable oil‑based ink applies only to offset printing services (lithography, flexography, gravure, or letterpress). It does not apply to the most commonly used digital printing methods, such as inkjet or electrostatic printing. While these ink forms are not required for purchase orders, they may still be needed for P‑card purchases.
