The Academic Professional Advisory Committee (APAC) is made up of ten APAC representative positions. Elections shall be held annually. Members of APAC shall be elected for staggered three (3) year terms. 

The academic professional staff whose appointments require at least fifty percent (50%) part-time employment and members of the System Office academic professional staff whose principal offices are on the Springfield campus shall be members of the electorate. Any academic professional is eligible to be a candidate for the election to APAC. 

Ten (10) members are elected at-large. Elected members of APAC shall elect a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, and Engagement and Retention Coordinator by majority vote from among the elected members at the regular June meeting. The terms of office shall be for one year beginning at the July meeting.
