The University of Illinois Springfield Visual Arts Gallery annual silent auction and benefit will take place both online and on-site at the gallery this year. The silent auction and benefit, featuring original works of art donated by local and regional artists, will launch online on Nov. 15 and remain live through final bidding at 7 p.m. Dec. 2. TEDx UofISpringfield is seeking nominations for Springfield-area speakers for their second annual event on March 5, 2022. The deadline to submit a speaker application is Nov. 6 at 11:59 p.m. TEDxUofISpringfield is a student-run event. Organizers are looking for speakers ranging in backgrounds, experience and interests. Selected speakers will be provided with a speaking mentor to help them prepare their talk and presentation for the big day when they speak live. |
