Table Visits

Table visits are an opportunity for us here at UIS Peoria to share information about what we offer here at UIS, especially for transfer students attending ICC. This is a great chance to meet us here at the UIS Peoria office and learn what we can do for you! Below are the dates, times, location and campus that we will be on the corresponding day.

Note: Some days will be held on the East Peoria Campus, and others will be held on the North Peoria Campus. Please double-check the times and campus location. UIS Peoria Spring Open House

Open houses are another way for us to connect with the students that attend ICC & those that are attending UIS and are in the Peoria area. We hold our annual open houses typically nearing the end of the semester. We offer different types of games, goodies, snacks, and comradery to connect with others than may also attend while learning more about what we can do for you!

Peoria Art Guild 63rd Annual Fine Art Fair

The Peoria Art Guild Fine Art Fair occurs every year on the last full weekend in September. 2025 marks our 63rd year of bringing artists from around the United States to our community.

Dear Diary

Dear Diary invites you into the lives of four couples in group therapy, each confronting the realities of domestic abuse - physical, emotional, financial, and psychological. Through gripping storytelling, this powerful play delves into generational pain, accountability, and the path toward healing.

The 20th Annual Historic Springdale Cemetery Tours

After a 2 year hiatus, we are bringing back the Historic Springdale Cemetery Tours for it's 20th year! Tours start October 4th and 5th at 2:00 and 4:00 pm. They continue the next weekend with a special 5:30 evening program, Friday, October 10th, then the standard Saturday and Sunday programs at 2:00 and 4:00 pm. Folks are encouraged to come early to park and purchase tickets. It is also recommended that the audience bring a folding chair to carry along on the tour. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children 8 and up.

Blacksmithing Demonstrations at Wheels O' Time Museum

From May to October, every second and fourth Saturday of the month, you can visit our own resident blacksmith at work in the Farm Building, from Noon to 4pm! Included with admission. $5.00 to $12.00—Group rates for 20+ people

Fall Festival at Wheels O' Time Museum

all Festival – one of our most popular days of the season! You’ll love visiting the museum while it is decked out in its best fall decor! Enjoy blacksmithing demonstrations, folk music, fire equipment (modern and classic), ambulance tours, hit & miss engines, corn shelling, classic cars, vintage garden tractors, small special exhibits and demonstrations, trains, and so much more! Light lunch and snacks will be available for purchase.

Exhibits and exhibitors will be all throughout our museum campus!

Regular admission rates apply. No charge for members. $5.00 to $12.00—Adults $12, children (3 years to 8th grade) $5, seniors $10

Fired Up: 150 Years of Service & Stories

Join Illinois Central College for a community celebration honoring the 150th anniversary of the Peoria Fire Department. This family-friendly event will showcase local history, spotlight today’s heroes, and inspire the next generation of firefighters.

Heart of Illinois Chorus – Generations of Love

Enjoy an afternoon of harmony at the Heart of Illinois Chorus concert, Generations of Love, on Sunday, October 19, at 2:00 p.m. The performance will also feature Dynamix A Cappella group from Bradley University. Tickets may be purchased from any chorus member or by emailing hoichorus1@gmail.com.

Guest Artist Series: The Second City Presents Jack Frost Roasting on an Open Fire

Skip the same old holiday routines and experience a comedy revue like no other. Join us as we roast everything from classic holiday movies to festive family gatherings in this fast-paced, interactive show. Expect seasonal songs, sharp sketches, and a healthy dose of improv, all wrapped up in a hilariously irreverent package. It’s rated R, so leave the kids at home, and prepare for the most “wonderful” time of the year—Second City style!
