Scholarships
Memorial Health scholarships are available to UIS Pre-Nursing students and UIC Nursing Springfield students.
UIS Pre-Nursing Scholarship
Amount: $10,000/year (for two years)
How to apply: Complete the Memorial Health Scholarship section on the UIS Pre-Nursing guaranteed admission application as part of the UIS application for admission. apply.uis.edu
Eligibility:
- Be a first-time, first-year student
- Earn a high school 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Receive/accept guaranteed admission
UIC Nursing Springfield students may also apply for additional UIC scholarships.

Tuition
UIS Pre-Nursing students pay UIS tuition for the first two years of their four-year BSN. In years three and four, students pay UIC tuition.
Fees
Students pay UIS fees for all four years of their degree for access to UIS amenities, including UIS Counseling Services, the Student Union, TRAC, Brookens Library and other resources.
Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance is available from UIS for the first two years and through UIC for the last two years. Anyone interested in financial aid should file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year.
