The Office of Digital Accessibility ensures that all digital content, technologies, and learning environments are accessible to all members of the campus community and the public.
The office collaborates with campus departments to promote inclusive digital practices, advocates for accessible technology procurement, and helps address barriers that impact the experiences of students, faculty, and staff. It provides guidance on accessible design, evaluates digital platforms for compliance with WCAG standards, and supports faculty and staff through training and consultations.
In higher education, digital spaces—like learning management systems, websites, PDFs, videos, and apps—are a core part of how we teach, learn, work, and connect. When these tools are not accessible, they exclude people with disabilities from full participation in academic and campus life.
That’s why digital accessibility matters. By proactively designing accessible content, choosing inclusive tools, and following best practices, we make the university a more welcoming and equitable place for all.
