That email was NOT sent by the university nor SURS, and is NOT from one of our approved retirement plan providers. Please exercise caution whenever you receive email from unknown sources.

As a reminder, employer registration is now open for the Career Connections Expo scheduled for Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on the University of Illinois Springfield (UIS) campus. Advanced employer registration is required. Thank you to those already registered, we look forward to seeing you at the event.

Our expert speaker for this presentation is Dr. Vickie Cook, Vice Chancellor for Enrollment & Retention Management.

Four members of the UIS Speech and Debate Team participated in the OATS 4 (Online Asynchronous Tournament Series) competition held on December 4-8.   A total of 184 students representing 47 colleges and universities from across the country competed in this online tournament.

On December 1, two team members recorded their competition speeches with other team members serving as their live audience.  Grace Nance competed in the Program Oral Interpretation event, and Line Nilsson competed in the Informative Speaking event.
