The 10th Annual Prairie Stars Invitational is set to take place on Friday, September 5th with the women's 5K race starting at 5:30 p.m. Hosted by Illinois Springfield, this exciting event will unfold at the UIS Cross Country Course located on the east side of the UIS campus, just off University Drive.

UIS Women’s Soccer Set to Open 2025 Season on the Road

The UIS women's soccer team is set to open its 2025 season with a pair of road matches, aiming to make a strong statement during its opening weekend in Owensboro, Ky. The Prairie Stars will face Kentucky Wesleyan on Friday, Sept. 5, at 7:00 p.m., followed by a matchup against West Alabama on Sunday, Sept. 7, at 12:00 p.m. Both games will be played at Panther Field on Kentucky Wesleyan's campus.
