In honor of Trans* Visibility Week, the Safe Zone / Brave Space Committee and Brookens Library cordially invite you to join us on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026 from 3:30pm-5pm CT in Brookens 230A for an interactive and engaging Brave Space workshop highlighting different techniques and strategies for finding Queer voices in the library. Participants will earn Brave Space credit, which goes towards Safe Zone / Brave Space membership. We will have light snacks and refreshments! We kindly ask that interested participants RSVP to ensure we have adequate seating and materials.

Queer representation is all over Brookens Library in various genres and through different platforms, so we can't wait to share them with you!

This workshop is open to all UIS students, faculty, and staff.
