Dear Campus Community,

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, March 9, UIS Athletics will host a planned emergency response training exercise at Kiwanis Stadium. During this time, you may notice an increased presence of law enforcement officers, emergency medical personnel, ambulances, and a helicopter operating near the stadium.

This exercise is part of a scheduled training event designed to enhance emergency preparedness and coordination. As part of the exercise, the university will also conduct a test of its emergency communications systems. Messages or alerts generated during the test will be clearly identified as part of the exercise.

There is no cause for concern, and no action is required from the public. Normal campus operations outside the immediate area of the exercise will continue as scheduled.
