Discover a full suite of AI-enabled computing resources available to support your research, teaching, and innovative course design at UIS. This hands-on session will introduce four powerful tools you can begin using right away:
- Front-End Chatbot – Build conversational interfaces for instructional or research purposes.
- LLM as a Service – Access customizable large language models to integrate into your scholarship or classroom activities.
- High-Performance Computing (HPC) – Leverage advanced compute power for data-intensive AI workflows.
- JupyterHub – Run interactive notebooks for coding, data exploration, and research.
We will explore each resource and share practical use cases of how these tools are actively being leveraged. The floor will also be open for discussion; your input will help shape the next phase of AI computing at UIS. This suite of tools can be helpful whether you have advanced or emerging skills with AI. Come experiment, ask questions, and help us understand what additional tools, capabilities, and support structures would be most valuable for your teaching and research.
