The University of Illinois Springfield Alumni Association hopes you'll join us for several fun events planned for homecoming. It's a great time to come back to campus and remember your time as Prairie Star!
Wednesday, Oct. 7
Prairie Star Soccer at Kiwanis Stadium
4 p.m. - Women's Soccer vs. UIndy
5:30 to 7:30 p.m. - Homecoming Tailgate
6:30 p.m. - Men's Soccer vs. UIndy
Friday, Oct. 9
Volleyball at TRAC
6 p.m. - Women's Volleyball vs Drury
Friday Night Star Party
8 p.m. - Brookens Library Roof
The UIS Astronomy-Physics program will host in-person Friday Night Star Party at the UIS Campus Observatory.
Star Parties are free and open for everyone. Walk-ups are encouraged and welcome.
Saturday, Oct. 10
Prairie Stars 5K and Pancake Breakfast
8:30 a.m. outside TRAC
Come out and enjoy the annual Prairie Stars 5K with a flat, easy run/walk through the UIS campus. Grab a friend or your dog to get a T-shirt and have a chance to win a door prize.
Volleyball at TRAC
2 p.m. - Women's Volleyball vs. Southwest Baptist
Alumni Gala: A Night Among the Stars
5:30 p.m. Student Union Ballroom
Get ready for the ultimate UIS celebration! The UIS Alumni Gala is returning with the same incredible atmosphere you love, plus a few exciting updates to make the night even more memorable. Think great food, flowing drinks, music that keeps you moving, and a dance floor full of familiar faces—all set beneath a night among the stars. The night will also feature a special presentation of the Alumni Awards, honoring outstanding members of our community for their achievements and contributions.
