Dr Richard Funderburg

Dr. Rick Funderburg was interviewed on WAND-TV in a story on, “Moody’s upgrades IL bond ratings for first time in over 20 years”.

Richard Funderburg, Ph.D, is an associate professor in the Department of Public Administration and a visiting expert at the Institute of Government and Public Affairs, where he is a member of the Fiscal Health of Illinois working group. He earned his Ph.D. in Planning, Policy, and Design at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Funderburg also holds a Master of Public Policy and Administration degree from California State University, Sacramento. Professor Funderburg is an expert on state and local economic development policy.
