Illinois Springfield senior pitcher Rosie Bartletti was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Pitcher of the Week, the league office announced Monday, after a dominant performance in UIS' season-opening win at Roosevelt.

Bartletti tossed a complete-game shutout, leading the Prairie Stars to a 3-0 victory on Friday afternoon. She limited the Lakers to just three hits across seven innings, striking out five and allowing no runs while improving to 1-0 on the season.

The senior faced 26 batters, issued three walks, and held Roosevelt scoreless throughout the contest, finishing the outing with a 0.86 WHIP. Roosevelt threatened at times, but Bartletti worked out of traffic, leaving five runners stranded.

Bartletti also contributed at the plate, recording a double and an RBI to help power the UIS offense.

The Pitcher of the Week honor marks an early-season highlight for Bartletti, who has now earned the award three times in her career, including back-to-back honors spanning the final week of the 2025 regular season and the first week of 2026.
