Dear Colleagues,

The Professional Staff Leadership Academy (PSLA) is a system-wide program designed to foster and sustain a culture of exceptional, dynamic, and transformational leadership across all levels of the University of Illinois System.

This program, open to academic professional and exempt civil service employees, offers:

• Dynamic speakers
• Interactive leadership activities
• Facility tours
• State legislative education
• System-wide networking
• A mentorship program

Applications for the eighth cohort to begin in 2026 will be accepted starting Monday, September 29. Candidates for the program must meet eligibility requirements and be able to attend all four conferences. Applications and the required documents are due no later than 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
