Ed3 Artificial Intelligence Courses
Self-paced, fully online professional learning for educators. 5 PDH** or 2 CEUs per course, $100 per course, start any time.
The University of Illinois Springfield (UIS), in partnership with Ed3, is proud to offer innovative professional learning opportunities in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for educators and professionals. Courses are self-paced and fully online.
At Ed3, AI is most impactful when paired with research-based, student-centered teaching practices. Rather than focusing solely on technology, Ed3's courses empower educators to integrate AI confidently, ethically, and effectively - enhancing learning, engagement, and outcomes.
As a nonprofit organization, Ed3 is driven by a bold mission: to upskill one million educators in emerging technologies through sound, classroom-tested teaching methods.
** As a professional development (PD) provider, UIS is currently in the process of having Ed3 courses approved by ISBE. All Illinois public school districts are automatically pre-approved as state-authorized professional development (PD) providers by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and can submit for approval. Please receive confirmation from your district during this time.

See how an Ed3 course actually teaches
A short lesson from the AI Foundations series. Every Ed3 course follows the same pattern: a pedagogical principle first, then AI applied to it, then something you can use in class the next day.
- Video lessons, not slide decks
- Built for educators, by educators
- Mindset over toolset
