As part of the university's effort to improve and standardize campus printing, new Ricoh multifunction printers (print, copy and scan) have been installed across campus. These printers offer better reliability, enhanced security and a more consistent printing experience for faculty and staff.

Before Using the New Printers

Please review the Knowledge Base articles for instructions on:

  • Installing printer drivers
  • Secure printing and releasing print jobs
  • Copying and scanning
  • Other printer features

Printing Costs

  • Black & White: $0.10 per page
  • Color: $0.15 per page

Printing charges will automatically be billed to the department CFOP linked to your Active Directory account. If your department information needs to be updated, please contact your departmental administrator.

Toner and Paper

To help keep printers running smoothly:

  • Toner levels are monitored automatically and replaced as needed. Each printer location also has one backup toner cartridge of each type. After a backup cartridge is used, a replacement will be shipped automatically.
  • Need more paper? Email ricohsupport@uis.edu, and they will restock the printer.
