Katie Nardulli of Williamsville, Illinois, a graduate of Williamsville High School, has been admitted to the University of Illinois Springfield for the fall semester of 2026 and awarded a $28,000 Star Scholar Award for tuition over four years. At UIS, she will major in exercise science.

The scholarship is awarded based on high school GPA and can be renewed if the student maintains college GPA requirements.

In high school, she was involved in National Honor Society, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) and SPARC Best Buddies.

“I chose UIS because it provides the opportunity to receive a quality education close to home,” Nardulli said.

Following graduation, she plans to become a pediatric occupational therapist.

All undergraduate first-year students are automatically eligible for Star Scholar First Year Scholarships. To receive $28,000 over four years, the student must have an unweighted 4.0 GPA.
