The Department of Management, Marketing, and Operations, at the Univ of IL Springfield, located in a mid-size metropolitan area, is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor to assist with the following responsibilities:
Under direction and supervision, teach management and business courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels with primary focus in Human Resource Management. Develop and expand existing programs, concentrations, and minors in the areas of Human Resource Management, and conduct student advising. Utilize specialized knowledge of Organizational Behavior & HRM to perform teaching & research tasks. Engage in scholarly research leading to peer-reviewed journal publications. Be available & engaged in the campus community, with assigned professional responsibilities for teaching, scholarship, & service. University service & other duties as assigned. Some travel maybe required for professional development. This position minimally requires a PhD or its foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Management, Marketing & Operations, or a related field of study. The salary range for this position is $105,000 to $125,000.
