Parkland College’s Board of Trustees voted Wednesday to approve a transfer agreement with the University of Illinois Springfield, making it easier for Parkland students to complete their four-year degrees.

The Transfer Drive Program, recently launched by the University of Illinois System, gives community college students access to a dedicated transfer coordinator, milestone-based financial support and coordinated advising between Parkland and UIS. The agreement runs through June 30, 2029.
