Meet Kayla Rice, a biology major from Rock Island, Illinois. She chose the University of Illinois Springfield for the athletic program and the connections.
She works as an intermural officer with Campus Recreation and is part of the Women’s basketball team here at UIS. Being involved in these programs has helped her meet find her home away from home.
