UIS basketball will forever have the Rice name imprinted on the school’s record books, with Jordan and Kayla Rice sitting in the top five or leading numerous career statistics for the Prairie Stars. More than stat fillers, more than stellar hoopers, the Rice’s are two closely bonded siblings who have pushed each other their whole lives to become the basketball players and people they are today, and both Prairie Star basketball programs have felt their impact beyond just the numbers.
