Dear faculty,
The 55th annual UIS Commencement ceremonies will be held at the Bank of Springfield Center in downtown Springfield on Saturday, May 9, 2026. There will be two ceremonies as follows:
- 12:30 p.m. - Graduates from the College of Health, Science and Technology AND the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences
- 5:30 p.m. - Graduates from the College of Business and Management AND the College of Public Affairs and Education
Once again, we are asking faculty members (including Platform Party members) to complete this form to indicate whether or not they will be participating in commencement and (if appropriate) to order regalia. Note: you must submit this form by February 27.
Please be aware of the following important points:
- Ceremony Information – If you indicate that you will be participating, commencement information will be sent to you prior to the ceremonies.
- Special Needs/Change in Plans – If you have special needs or if your participation plans change following your submission, please email commencement@uis.edu.
- Regalia Delivery – If you order regalia, items will be delivered to your college office in late April/early May.
Information for UIS faculty pertaining to this year’s commencement ceremonies can be found on the Commencement website. As new information becomes available, it will be added to the website. Please direct any questions to commencement@uis.edu or 217/206-7730. We hope that you will consider attending one or both of the upcoming commencement ceremonies to help celebrate our graduates!
