UIS Library invites you to join us for our first UIS Library Reading Challenge, running from January 12 to April 19, 2026.
How It Works:
Step 1: To participate in the challenge, read a book that matches one of the squares on the bingo card. Ebooks and audiobooks count, too!
- Read a book that fits one of the squares on the bingo card.
- Attending one of our monthly Overbooked Book Club meetings can replace any category as a free space (students only).
- No double dipping! Each book only counts for one square.
Step 2: Fill out the submission form about your reading for the square you’re completing. Library staff will draw one name each month to win a prize. You can also win a prize if you complete a Bingo! Make sure to fill out a separate submission form for each square you are completing of the challenge.
The Prizes: There are three ways to win.
- Complete a square: If you complete one square and fill out our submission form, you will be entered into a drawing for a gift card for that month. One entry into the drawing per month.
- Complete a BINGO: If you complete a bingo (five in a row), you’ll receive some premium swag. You can only claim bingo once.
- Complete a square in February, March, and April: If you complete a square in all three months of the challenge (January/February, March, and April), you’ll receive a reading challenge t-shirt.
All UIS students, faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in the challenge.
