Overview
This 8-week, instructor-led course (8 CEUs) is the final course for the Mater Online Teacher Certificate. It introduces an eight-week course about completing a process. In order to do this, you are going to demonstrate 4 skill sets important to teaching online successfully. We will also take time to build upon our own online communication/facilitation skills in this program.
Learners who complete this course have the opportunity to earn the Master Online Teacher Certificate or one of our microcredentials.
Outcomes
As a result of completing course activities and interacting in discussion forums, participants will:
- Facilitate a discussion on a topic related to online learning.
- Apply instructional design practices to improve an existing online course or add structure to a future course.
- Evaluate peer instructional design projects using best practices learned in the program.
- Reflect on what you have learned in the program.
