Each trip is led by a trained and experienced trip leader. No prior experience or personal equipment is necessary. Just bring an open mind and a sense of adventure!

Trips are open to active students paying the General Fee. Due to limited space, registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and students may only register themselves for each trip.

To reserve your spot, visit the TRAC front desk to register and provide payment if required. More details will be added to UIS Connection.

Hike at Lick Creek | Friday, April 10

Join Campus Recreation for a fun hike not far from campus. You’ll hike through the woods and see parts of Lake Springfield and the creeks that flow from it. No experience necessary.

Join Campus Recreation for a canoe/kayak trip on Lake Springfield! No experience necessary and all equipment will be provided.
