The University of Illinois Springfield (UIS) Music Program is hosting an ILMEA Flute Audition Workshop to help Junior High and High School musicians prepare for their Illinois Music Education Association district auditions. The workshop is led by Dr. Farah Zolghadr, UIS Flute Instructor and Director of the UIS Flute Choir. The workshop will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, in the Visual and Performing Arts Building, Rm #33.

Audition and Recording Tips: Learn strategies for preparing and recording your strongest possible audition.

Play Along & Ask Questions: Bring your flute! Students will have opportunities to try techniques and passages during the clinic and ask questions about their audition material.
