The UIS Professionals Network provides a new pathway for those who seek to make an impact on the UIS campus and Springfield community. Volunteer leaders, advocates and supporters will network and socialize. This initiative strengthens affinity for UIS through philanthropic activities and engagement with the broader community.

Few professional networks incorporate philanthropy as a core principle. The UIS Professionals Network uniquely blends professional and personal development with philanthropy, encouraging members to give back through mentorship, financial support, activity planning, and participation. Membership is open to alumni, faculty, staff, and community supporters who wish to champion philanthropy and further connect UIS with the Springfield community.

Members contribute $300/person annually, fostering a commitment to the program’s success. Those 28 years old and younger contribute $150/person annually. A recurring, monthly installment plan will be available. Members are expected to represent UIS with pride, participate in activities, and collaborate on events.

Members gain behind-the-scenes access and special opportunities to get involved with UIS in ways that are
meaningful to them. There will be several social events where members can develop important business contacts and community relationships. We will hold several happy hours, you’ll have direct access to UIS leadership, and it will be a group ran and led by members. JOIN us, help us grow the UIS network, and have fun doing it!
