Each UIS first- and second-team honoree was a first-year transfer, underscoring the impact of five transfer additions in their first season with the Prairie Stars.
Additionally, Brian Daker was named the team's sportsmanship honoree. Each UIS team selects a representative at the end of its season, with one male and one female student-athlete chosen as the university's recipients of the GLVC James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award in May.
UIS now turns its attention to postseason play, opening the GLVC Championship Tournament against Rockhurst at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
