The Illinois Springfield women's track & field team wrapped up competition at the 2025 GLVC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held Thursday through Saturday. The Prairie Stars placed 10th out of 13 scoring teams and had one All-GLVC honoree, with points scored in three distance events.

Meet Highlights
  • Thursday's competition began with prelims of the 1500 meters, where Marissa Roggensack (4:49.90) and Lillian Buzani (4:51.97) both advanced to the finals after finishing 9th and 12th overall, respectively.
  • In the 10,000-meter final, Kaleigh Inniss placed fourth in 37:24.57 to score five points, just outside of All-GLVC honors. Jordan Serrahn added two more points with a seventh-place finish in 38:21.50.
  • UIS had two entries in the 800-meter prelims, Kali Gaden and Camille Terre, though neither advanced to the finals.
  • On Friday, freshman Norah Wright ran 12:12.68 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, placing 11th.
  • In the 1500-meter final, Roggensack scored a point with an eighth-place finish (4:51.34), and Buzani placed 10th (4:54.76).
  • The Prairie Stars' top highlight came in the 5,000-meter final, where Madelyn Miller finished third in 17:37.53 to earn All-GLVC honors and six team points. Inniss scored two more points with a seventh-place finish (17:50.48).
