UIS Student Involvement
The Psychology Club, open to all students at UIS, works to advance opportunities for professional development. Psi Chi is an international honors society in psychology. At UIS, student members are involved due to their high academic achievements. Psi Chi's purpose is to encourage excellence in scholarship and advance the science of psychology.

Madison Steines was selected as the 2025 Psychology Graduation Marshal. She plans to use the skills she learned at UIS while exploring different fields of medical assistance.
Dr. Kent Schafer graduated from UIS with a degree in Psychology in 2003. He now serves as the regional director for the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind in Tucsaloosa.
