All conference events will take place on the second floor of the UIS Student Union. Parking is available nearby in Lot J (recommended) and Lot F (backup). Additional parking information is below.

Parking

Parking on the UIS campus costs $1.5 per hour, with a 1-hour minimum. Pay stations are available in the parking lots. You can also pay for parking through the Park Smarter app (Apple or Android). For additional parking information, please see the UIS Visitor Parking page.

Lot J is the recommended lot for the conference. Lot F is another good alternative if Lot J is full. Please see the UIS Map for their locations.

Bus Services

Several bus routes serve UIS, including Lines 11, 15, and 501.

Hotel Information

Many local hotels have special rates for UIS. In most cases, you will need to call the hotels directly to request the University of Illinois Springfield rate. If needed, you can mention that this is for an event hosted by the UIS MIS department at the College of Business and Management. Please note that MWAIS 2027 does not have room blocks reserved at these hotels.
