Faculty teaching Global Awareness courses at UIS participated in an all-day retreat on December 5, which featured discussions about student learning and the accreditation team’s Quality Initiative Project. The Collaborative Research Faculty (pictured above) gave a brief overview of the project and introduced the rubric they created to assess student learning in Global Awareness courses.
Tiffani Saunders, Suzanne Borland, Karen Moranski, and Kay McChesney attended the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Conference on October 11 in St. Louis and presented “Assessing Global Learning in an Engaged Citizenship.”
