Join us for an essential online session designed to support faculty and staff in preparing for the upcoming Title II digital accessibility compliance deadline of April 24, 2026. This event will introduce our university’s new Digital Accessibility Toolkit, a resource developed to help departments meet the requirements of the updated Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations.

During this session, we will:

  • Provide an overview of the Title II final rule and what it means for public universities.
  • Explain the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards that all digital content must meet.
  • Highlight key areas impacted by the rule, including online course materials, websites, third-party applications, mobile apps, and virtual events.
  • Demonstrate how the toolkit can support auditing, remediation, and inclusive design practices.
  • Share strategies for integrating accessibility into course development, communications, and administrative services.

Whether you're a faculty member creating course content or a staff member managing digital communications, this session will equip you with the knowledge and tools to ensure your work is accessible and compliant.
