In May 2022, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences conferred awards to graduating seniors for their outstanding contributions to CLAS departments. The department faculty selected the awards that would be given to the students. In the Psychology Department, the following awards were given to our graduating seniors:

Christa Willoughby was selected as Psychology Department Student Marshal. This award is given to the student who “best exemplifies the spirit and goals of the program.” Christa was selected based on her distinguished record of service to the department, the university, and the community, and for her commitment to inclusiveness in these settings.

Brooke Seacrist received an Outstanding Service Award. Brooke received this award based on her impressive record of service to the department and to multiple organizations on campus.

Mason Wisley received an Outstanding Student Scholar Award. Mason received this award based on his notable achievements in research as an undergraduate student.

Hunter Gourdie received an Outstanding Student Scholar Award. Hunter received this award based on his strong commitment to academic endeavors during his undergraduate career.
