Future Plans: Work in a role creating and developing public policy

Molly Harms chose the University of Illinois Springfield because of the scholarship and internship opportunities. She currently serves as the parliamentarian on the Student Government Association and is a Capital Scholars Honors Program peer mentor. She was the assistant editor of the 2022 issue of the Violet Margin literary journal. Harms works at Brookens Library as a library student assistant. “My favorite thing about UIS is the fact that even though it's small, there are still plenty of opportunities for students,” she said. “We get the benefits of a small campus, but aren't limited in what we can achieve.” Following graduation, she hopes to work in a role that involves creating and developing public policy.

Leadership is lived at UIS. Every day.
