Madelyn Miller made her outdoor national championship debut Thursday night at the NCAA Division II Track and Field Championships.

Race Recap
Miller completed the 10,000-meter race in 38:01 at the CSU ThunderBowl in Pueblo, Colorado, located around 5,000 feet above sea level. Racing at altitude was a first for Miller and several others in the field.

The race began with a tightly packed field, but a few runners began to fall off the pace after 3,200 meters. Miller remained with the main pack through the early stages but lost contact, finishing 22nd out of 22 competitors.
