Monday, March 10
All Day - Women's Golf at Emerald Coast Classic
The Emerald Coast Classic in Destin, Fla., hosted by Missouri-St. Louis, begins Monday after a weather delay postponed Sunday's start. This marks the season opener for UIS women's golf.
Tuesday, March 11
All Day - Women's Golf at Emerald Coast Classic
The tournament concludes with one final round on Tuesday.
1:30 & 3:30 p.m. - Softball vs. Parkside (HOME)
UIS (12-9, 2-2 GLVC) takes a break from conference play to host Parkside (9-7) on Tuesday afternoon at the UIS Softball Complex. UIS lost two to Truman to open GLVC play Friday but bounced back Sunday with wins over Quincy, 20-0 and 7-5. Parkside's most recent games were a Friday doubleheader against Lincoln, which it lost 8-7 and 5-2.
Thursday, March 13
5:15 p.m. - Women's Track & Field at NCAA DII Indoor Track & Field Championships
Madelyn Miller has qualified for and will compete in the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships. She qualified for the 5,000-meter run, with the final scheduled for 5:15 p.m. The championship is in Indianapolis and is part of a Division II festival.
Friday, March 14
12:00 p.m. - Women's Tennis vs. Purdue Northwest
The Prairie Stars (0-5) return to competition for the first time since a three-match weekend from Feb. 21-23. They look to secure their first win of the season against Purdue Northwest (2-8). Last time out, UIS fell 4-1 to Hillsdale. PNW has lost four straight, including a March 9 defeat against Missouri-St. Louis.
12:00 p.m. - Men's Tennis vs. Purdue Northwest
UIS (0-5) travels to Hammond, Indiana, to face Purdue Northwest (9-3). The Prairie Stars last competed in an exhibition against Eastern Illinois on March 1 and are still seeking their first win of 2025. PNW enters on a five-match winning streak, with recent victories over Lewis, Maryville, and Missouri-St. Louis.
1:00 p.m. - Baseball vs. Indianapolis (HOME)
The Prairie Stars (7-7, 2-2 GLVC) open their conference series against Indianapolis (6-9) with a nine-inning game. UIS split a four-game series with Lewis, winning the first two and dropping the last two. Indianapolis has yet to play a GLVC opponent, going 1-3 against Davenport last weekend.
Saturday, March 15
All Day - Men's golf at SVSU Invitational
UIS men's golf travels to Lexington, Ky., for the SVSU Invitational, hosted by Saginaw Valley State. The Prairie Stars look to rebound from a 20th-place finish at the Las Vegas Desert Classic on March 2-4.
12:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m. - Baseball vs. Indianapolis (HOME)
The series continues with a Saturday doubleheader, scheduled for noon and 3:00 p.m.
12:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m. - Softball vs. Southwest Baptist
The Prairie Stars head to Bolivar, Missouri, to resume GLVC play against Southwest Baptist (10-12, 4-0 GLVC). UIS is 2-2 after the first weekend of conference action, while SBU plays its first home games of the season. The Bearcats have opened GLVC play with close wins, defeating Missouri-St. Louis 5-3 and 7-4, and Lincoln 4-3 and 5-3.
Sunday, March 16
All Day- Men's Golf at SVSU Invitational
The SVSU Invitational concludes Sunday afternoon at Kearney Hills Golf Course.
12:00 p.m.- Baseball vs. Indianapolis (HOME)
The series finale at the UIS Baseball Field is set for noon Sunday.
12:00 & 2:00 p.m.- Softball vs. Rockhurst
UIS wraps up its weekend road trip with a doubleheader against Rockhurst (6-10, 3-1 GLVC) in Kansas City. The Hawks have started GLVC play strong, splitting with Maryville before dominating Missouri-St. Louis on Sunday.
