Student Life serves as a resource for all students, enabling them to engage in, contribute to, and benefit from this community. Student Life initiates programs and activities that enhance the student experience and further the university’s mission of providing an intellectually rich, collaborative, and intimate learning environment for students, faculty, and staff, while serving local, regional, state, national, and international communities.

SAC meets weekly, every Sunday at 1:00pm in the Student Leadership Center, Student Union. If you are interested in joining the committee email the Student Activities Committee or come to our weekly meeting!

Welcome Week is where college graduates must demonstrate essential leadership competencies in order to be successful in their time after UIS. In order to promote this development, Student Life, along with many campus partners offer leadership opportunities throughout the academic year!

Student Life offers a variety of Student Organization RSO Workshops and trainings. The Leadership Summit is open to all students, and required for Student Organization registration.
