The UIS athletic department has announced the hiring of Liam Boyle as its new business administrative associate. Boyle comes to UIS from Salem University in West Virginia, where he served as a member of the athletics operations staff.

In his new role, Boyle will manage the business, financial and administrative operations for UIS Athletics. He will serve as a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, providing administrative support in areas such as budgeting, onboarding, reporting and team travel coordination. 

During his time at Salem, Boyle played a significant role in supporting day-to-day operations. He organized transportation for 14 NCAA Division II varsity teams, assisted with budgeting, supported media productions, and helped manage compliance documentation for student-athletes. 

Boyle recently completed his MBA in finance at Salem University. Boyle holds bachelor's degrees in accounting and management from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, where he was a Division III student-athlete on the men's soccer team and a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
