Illinois Springfield junior catcher Ivan Dahlberg has earned a spot on the 2025 CCA All-America Honorable Mention list following a standout season for the Prairie Stars.

Dahlberg was a cornerstone of the team throughout the 2025 campaign, delivering both consistency and power at the plate while providing leadership behind it. He appeared in 48 games, making 44 starts, and posted a .344 batting average with a 1.214 OPS.

He racked up 53 hits, including seven doubles, one triple, and 16 home runs. Dahlberg scored 49 runs, drove in 43, and stole seven bases in as many attempts. He also drew 40 walks and was hit by a pitch nine times, contributing to a .500 on-base percentage.

Behind the plate, Dahlberg caught 10 runners stealing and was a steady defensive presence for the Prairie Stars.

This recognition adds to an already impressive list of postseason accolades for Dahlberg, who was named to the D2CCA All-Midwest Region First Team, the NCBWA All-Midwest Region First Team, and the All-GLVC First Team.
