  • Gender and Sustainability in Environmental Policy: Studying how gender and equity considerations influence sustainable development, nature-based solutions, ecosystem management, and pollution mitigation strategies, with focus on waste management, plastic pollution, and marine debris in coastal Mexico and the Caribbean.
  • Coastal Resilience and Sustainable Urban Development: Advancing strategies for disaster recovery, climate adaptation, and WASH initiatives to support communities facing rapid environmental change and foster sustainable urban development.
