Pat Jacobs is a strategic, transformative, customer-focused leader who provides the vision and strategy to lead organizations to exceptional customer and user satisfaction levels while increasing profitability and market dominance.

He currently serves as the Midland States Bank Chief Digital Officer and is in charge of digital strategy. His responsibilities fall in solution delivery, development, business applications, banking as a service, customer applications, robotic process automation, data architecture, and analytics. He is an integral member of the senior leadership team looking to continually improve upon shareholder value through reductions in technology and operational complexities and expenses and improvement in customer experience, sales, and revenue across all lines of business.

Prior to joining Midland as part of a 2018 Acquisition, Mr. Jacobs held the positions of Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer from 2015–2017, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer from 2014–15 for Alpine Bank and Trust headquartered in Rockford, Illinois, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer 2013–2014, Vice President IT Manager 2008– 2012, End User Support Manager 2006–2008, Systems Analyst 2005–2006, and Help Desk Manager 2002–2004 for First National Bank and Trust Company headquartered in Beloit, Wisconsin.

Mr. Jacobs received his Executive Leadership Certificate from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business in 2018, graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 2015, M.S. in Management Information Systems from the University of Illinois Springfield in 2011, and B.S in Management Information Systems from Millikin University in 2002.
