The Department of Management, Marketing, and Operations, at the Univ of IL Springfield, located in a mid-size metropolitan area, is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor to assist w/ the following responsibilities:

Under direction and supervision, teach management and business courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels primarily in the area of Strategy and Entrepreneurship. Develop and expand existing programs, concentrations, and minors in the areas of Strategic Management, and conduct student advising. Utilize specialized knowledge of Strategic Management to perform teaching and research tasks. Engage in scholarly research leading to peer-reviewed journal publications. Be available and engaged in the campus community, with assigned professional responsibilities for teaching, scholarship, and service. University service and other duties as assigned. Some travel maybe required for professional development. This position minimally requires a PhD or its foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Management, Marketing and Operations, or a related field of study.
