Caleb Grover, Candidate for SGA Secretary

My name is Caleb Grover and declaring my candidacy for Secretary in the upcoming Student Government Association (SGA) election for the 2025-26 academic year. I am an undergraduate alumnus of UIS pursuing a Master of Arts in Political Science. As your current Student Organization Funding Association (SOFA) secretary, I have demonstrated transparency by promptly submitting thorough meeting minutes for UIS student accessibility. I will do the same for SGA. If elected, I will exercise the SGA constitutional duty of secretary by serving as a liaison to the Student Activities Committee (SAC), strengthening relations between SAC and SGA to enhance student engagement and collaborative efforts. Additionally, I am committed to fostering discussions with UIS students, ensuring their voices are heard within SGA and throughout the UIS Administration. It would be an honor to have your support as we, UIS students, work together to create a more transparent and inclusive campus environment.
