Space Utilization

In early 2024, Facilities and Services conducted a comprehensive space audit as part of our ongoing commitment to strategic resource allocation and effective space utilization. The audit was a means to evaluate each unit's net assignable space, assess space usage, and identify opportunities for mixed-use, collaboration, and flexible multifunctional spaces. The data collected also ensures equitable space distribution, aligning with organization needs and optimizing funding allocation.

If any room usage or assignments change, please contact us to request a Space Inventory Worksheet to record the change(s). The completed worksheet can be submitted to facilities@uis.edu, mailed to MS BSB 33, or dropped off in BSB 33.
