COPC Annual Report The
University of Illinois at Springfield (UIS) Community Outreach Partnership
Center (COPC) is mid-way through the third year of activities. A number
of major successes supported or fostered by the COPC have occurred during
this time. The grant period formally began in October 1998. Late notification of receipt of the grant meant that the actual activity
of the grant did not get fully under way until January 1999. We will be applying for an extension of this grant through September,
2002. What follows is a summary, by project category, of the major
highlights and our activities during this period. The University of Illinois at Springfield (UIS) Community Outreach Partnership Center (COPC) has completed its second year of activities.
