You can upload and add a PDF directly through the site editor. Click the black plus sign to add a new block, type file or scroll down to find the file block.

Click upload or select media library if the file has already been uploaded to the site. Select the file and click open. You will then be taken back to the editor where it will prompt you to enter the file description.

**For accessibility your filename should match the title of your document.

If you need to link a PDF to a sentence, part of a sentence, or a list within your content, follow these simple steps:

  1. Drag and Drop the PDF
    • Locate the PDF file on your computer.
    • Drag the PDF into your content editor.
    • This action will create a file block within your content.
  2. Copy the URL of the PDF
    • Click on the file block to reveal the file block menu.
    • In the menu, select "Copy URL". This will copy the direct link to the PDF.
  3. Link the PDF to Text
    • Highlight the text (sentence, part of a sentence, or list item) that you want to link to the PDF.
    • Click the link button (usually represented by a chain icon or labeled as “Link”).
    • In the URL field that appears, paste the copied URL.
    • Press Submit to finalize the link.
  4. Remove the File Block
    • Go to the block menu (often located near the file block).
    • Select Options and choose Remove to delete the file block from the content.
    • The PDF will still be linked to the highlighted text.

And that's it!
You've successfully linked a PDF to your content. This method ensures a clean and professional appearance without unnecessary file blocks cluttering your page.
