This event open only to teams pre-registered for the Trick or Treat for Canned Goods event.

Trick or Treat for Canned Goods is a fun canned goods donation drive. Students, Faculty, and Staff form teams and the week before Halloween each team canvasses a neighborhood armed with fliers, door hangers, and T-shirts identifying themselves and the project. On Sunday October 26, the teams return to their neighborhood to collect canned good rather than candy. All the food is brought back to a weigh-in party where volunteers gather to see how much they collected, learn from community members, and find out who collected the most food. In 2024, Trick or Treat for Canned Goods collected a combined total of over 8,000 lbs of food. Our goal for 2025 is to meet or exceed the donation with 20 or more teams participating.
