346 UIS Researchers combine art and science to capture tiniest images

UIS researchers are using focus stacking to help view microorganisms on a larger scale. The new technology is a team effort from UIS Biology Professor Michael Lemke, UIS Associate Professor of Art, Mike Miller and photographer, Tom Lemke. The team’s scientific artwork was placed on exhibit at the Saint Louis Science Center.
